Introducing the Fruitfully Human Newsletter

Introducing…

We live in a world that constantly pulls our attention in different directions. Amidst the noise, many of us long for a life that feels grounded, purposeful, and flourishing. That’s what Fruitfully Human is all about: helping you live into your God-given potential and make a unique, positive contribution to the world.

The inspiration comes from Psalm 1, which paints a picture of a person who is “like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season.” Fruitfulness in the Bible isn’t about constant productivity or endless hustle. It’s about being rooted in what nourishes us, living in step with God’s rhythm, and producing fruit that blesses others.

The Seven Fields of Fruitfulness

To make this vision practical, Fruitfully Human explores seven “fields” where our lives can grow and flourish, ordered from the most internal to the more external:

  • Self-care – cultivating inner strength and well-being.
  • Growth – pursuing learning, wisdom, and personal development.
  • Relationships – tending to the love and connections that sustain us.
  • Leisure – making space for play, rest, and creativity.
  • Home – nurturing places of belonging and peace.
  • Community – contributing to the common good where we live.
  • Work – finding meaning and integrity in our daily tasks.

Each week, the newsletter will offer reflections, encouragement, and practical inspiration to help you imagine a more fruitful future in these areas.
