Influencer Manifesto

As a Christian, seeking to make the world a better place, I am committed to being a voice of hope, a companion in struggle, a challenger toward growth, and a cultivator of communities that reflect God’s love and wisdom. I will use my influence not to elevate myself, but to serve others – rooted in Scripture, enriched by all that is true, and always pointing toward a life of fruitfulness that finds its fullness in Christ.

1. Rooted in Scripture, Enriched by All That is True

I commit to faithfully sharing the timeless wisdom of Scripture, bringing its ancient truths to life in ways that are relevant and accessible. I will also draw from the best of human knowledge – science, history, psychology, and other disciplines – when they align with the truth of God’s Word and deepen our understanding of how humans flourish. I will present the gospel clearly and lovingly, offering it boldly when appropriate, while honouring the God who is the author of all truth.

2. Speak Hope Honestly

I will speak with a voice of genuine hope – hope that is not naïve or escapist, but rooted in the goodness of God and the resilience of the human spirit. I will not pretend that life is easy, nor offer simple answers to complex problems. Instead, I will affirm that light can break through even the deepest darkness, and that each person has the capacity to grow, heal, and begin again.

3. Lead with Authenticity and Vulnerability

I will share my story honestly – its doubts and detours, as well as its moments of joy and clarity. I will resist the pressure to appear polished or perfect, choosing instead to show up as a whole person. I believe authenticity invites connection, and vulnerability creates space for others to be real too. I will lead by example, not by image.

4. Live What I Share, and Inspire Meaningful Action

I will let my life speak. I will strive to act with integrity, compassion, and justice in my own choices, using my platform not only to say what matters but to show it. I will encourage others to take practical steps that lead to real change – in character, relationships, communities, and the world. My goal is not to generate agreement or admiration, but to inspire courageous, generous, and grounded action that helps make life better for all.

5. Build Community, Not Just Followers

I will treat social media not as a stage, but as a space for connection. I will resist the pull toward metrics and performance, and instead nurture conversation, curiosity, and care. I will use digital tools to help people find belonging, encounter ideas that stretch them, and know they are not alone on the journey.

6. Be Humble and Open to Correction

I recognize that influence is a responsibility, not a right. I will stay open to feedback, willing to admit when I am wrong, and eager to keep learning. I will seek wisdom from others, especially those whose experiences differ from mine. Humility is not weakness – it is the soil where truth takes root and grows.

7. Communicate Clearly and Creatively

I will share ideas in ways that are accessible, imaginative, and thought-provoking. I will avoid jargon and insider language, and instead use stories, images, and honest words that connect across backgrounds and beliefs. I believe creativity is a gift that helps truth come alive – and I will use it to help people see the world, and themselves, more clearly.

8. Create Space for Growth, Not Just Agreement

I will not measure success by likes or shares, nor by who agrees with me. Instead, I will create space for exploration, reflection, and transformation. I will challenge without shaming, invite without pressuring, and walk alongside people at different stages of their journey. Influence should help people grow, not simply echo what they already think.

9. Share the Bigger Story We Were Made For

I will invite others into the larger story of purpose, healing, and hope revealed throughout Scripture – a story that speaks to our deepest longings and our highest potential. In a world full of noise and distraction, I will point to the narrative that grounds us: that we are created in love, redeemed by grace, and called to live fruitful lives that reflect God’s goodness.

10. Point Toward Fullness of Life in Christ and Community

While my work encourages all people toward fruitfulness and flourishing, I will be open about the deeper truth that fullness of life is ultimately found in relationship with Jesus. I believe we grow best not alone, but as part of a community that encourages, challenges, and supports us in following Him. Whether in person or online, I will seek to nurture spaces of belonging where people can explore faith, experience grace, and walk the journey together.
